Welcome Everyone

Hello everyone and welcome to atheistmind.com.  Here you will find news, events, tips, humor and opinions on everything to do with atheism.  I have a lot of ideas I’d like to bring to this blog and I hope to see a lot of you coming back regularly to check them out.

Here is a list of regular topics I’ll be writing about weekly or monthly:

  • Ask an Atheist:  I’ve seen a lot of questions coming from often ignorant Christians and members of other religious groups about atheism, and why we believe, or rather, choose not to believe some things.  For religious people, if they so desire to educate themselves, these posts will be a way of doing so.  For atheists, these posts will often provide humor, but more importantly you’ll be able to get a perspective from another Atheist, as I’m sure we all have different views on various topics.
  • Atheist Advice:  Given the large number of religious people and the relatively small number of Atheists, it’s good to know how to deal with some situations which may arise.  So whether you’ve fallen in love with a Christian women and need advice on making the relationship work, or you’re being hounded by Jehova’s witnesses knocking on your door - Atheist Mind has you covered.
  • Atheist Humor:  Everyone needs a little bit of humor in their lives - even Atheists!  Here I’ll be posting some humorous videos, pictures or comics made by Atheists.  Be sure to come by every week to get your weekly dose of blasphemy.
  • Crazy Theists!:  We’ve all seen them.  In youtube videos, in the news and perhaps even in our own neighborhoods!  Sometimes you just have to sit back and wonder how the world ever got to be this way.  These posts will include stories, pictures or videos of some of the crazy things religion leads people to do.
  • The History of Religion and Atheism:  You may be thinking, what do I care about the history of religion, when I’m not religious?!  Well, I like to think most Atheists enjoy learning and I think the history of religion and atheism can give us some important insight as to how it has progressed, and where it’s going.  These posts will provide you with knowledge to combat your religious friend in a friendly debate, or simply further enhance your understanding of some of the reasons people think the way they do.
  • News:  Every once in a while we hear about the latest religious protest against homosexuality, atheism, hell, even children’s books and movies.  I’ll be keeping up to date on this stuff and you can be sure I’ll have some opinions about as I’m sure you will too - so feel free to leave your comments.
  • Rants, Opinions, Thoughts and Just… Whatever:  What’s a blog with out random thoughts, rants and opinions on life, or whatever comes to mind.  I like to think these are some of the most interesting posts in blogs, so as such, I’ll be sure to be providing many.
These are some of things I have in store for this blog and as it progresses I’m sure there will be many other topics/categories that I come across that will need a constant updating on.  I plan to post daily, and perhaps a couple times on a day on weekends - depending on what’s going on in life - so there will always be a source of entertainment here.  Be sure to subscribe to the feed and again everybody, welcome to Atheist Mind, and I hope you enjoy.

  1. Looking forward to reading more of your site…

If you’re interested, we could do a link exchange. I also have a few technical questions about your blog if you have a chance to send me a quick email (I tried to find your email to email you directly, but I didn’t see it anywhere obvious).

    Keep up the good fight!
