Now, I know a lot of guys would like a sexy girl in a catholic school girl uniform, or maybe even a sexy nun outfit. But it doesn’t have to be that way as us atheists have some of our own sexy girls. Here’s my top 10 list of the world’s hottest/sexiest atheist females list.

When asked if I consider myself Buddhist, the answer is, Not really. But it’s more my religion than any other because I was brought up with it in an intellectual and spiritual environment. It’s Saturday and that means it’s time for another atheist humor post. I’m not sure if this video can be classed as humor or not, but it’s so epic that I had to post it. The way in which it is sung makes it hilarious but keep in mind…
This is serious!! If it were only meant for humor, it would be a great blasphemy in the eyes of His Noodliness.
Enjoy the video:

Christmas is fast approaching and I bet many of you are tired of hearing the same old christian Christmas songs that get overplayed every year. So I decided that I’d round up some of my favorite atheist Christmas songs for us to enjoy. I’ll rank them in order of my favorite to least favorite, even tho this is all premium.
1. Greg Lake - I Believe In Father Christmas
I remember the first time I heard this was at a pool hall a week before Christmas. I remember thinking the lyrics didn’t seem to christian-like. I quickly texted myself some of the lyrics and when I got home, tracked it down. Sure enough, it was an atheist Christmas song. It’s been my favorite ever since.
2. Tim Minchin - White Wine In The Sun (Christmas Song)
I found this song a few days ago. It’s quite humorous but the guys got a good voice. He’s an Australian comedian, singer, actor and writer. This song makes it into second place because I think it might be how a lot of people see Christmas now. There’s about a 30 second intro, so be patient.
3. Vienna Teng - The Atheist Christmas Carol
This song is beautifully sung. This girl has an amazing voice and her lyrics are quite deep. Despite being called “The Atheist Christmas Carol,” the lyrics could be interpreted as religious. However, upon looking at them, I believe they are spiritual, but not necessarily religious. I feel as if she is sing about the love and support of one another. In any case, it’s a great song so enjoy.

How do these countries compare to the United States and Canada?
U.S.A’s ranks number 43 with 3-9% Atheist/Non-believers.
Canada ranks number 20 with 19-34% Atheist/Non-believers.

Don’t Tell Your Parents You’re an Atheist Until After Christmas: Here’s Why
Atheist Humor 1: Some of Gods Many “Cool Designs”
Data and stats provided by: http://www.adherents.com and Wikipedia.
We all know religious people are at least a little bit crazy, I mean… they do believe in imaginary sky people. However, there are quite a few who can live peacefully and let others live the way they want to live. Some on the other hand… not so much.
I came across this video while searching for those that can be classed as falling into the extreme ends of religious zealotry. For those of you who still live with your parents and enjoy Christmas but are ready to denounce your faith and join the world of reality; take this as a warning: do it after Christmas. It seems some parents just don’t want their children to be atheists.
I’m not sure what makes me more angry. Her reaction to her son being an atheist, or the fact that they turned the video off early. Ok, actually I do know and it’s definitely her reaction, but that rant is for another day.
Until then check out some Atheist Humor: Some of God’s Many “Cool Designs”.

I read an interesting article in the New York Times today. It’s a long one so I’ll shorten it down for you guys. The article states:
The sudden crush of worshipers packing the small evangelical Shelter Rock Church in Manhasset, N.Y. — a Long Island hamlet of yacht clubs and hedge fund managers — forced the pastor to set up an overflow room with closed-circuit TV and 100 folding chairs, which have been filled for six Sundays straight.
It then goes on to provide some other examples of churches whose numbers have grown a great deal, to the point where regulars must come early just to get seating. What do the churches think about all of this? Well, this statement pretty much sums it up:
“It’s a wonderful time, a great evangelistic opportunity for us,” said the Rev. A. R. Bernard, founder and senior pastor of the Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn, New York’s largest evangelical congregation…
Huh, it sure is great to know that churches are benefiting from everyone else’s fears and sufferings. They’re obviously loving this “wonderful time.” The more people they can suck in, the more money they make. Just what they need, more money to fund their lavishly built churches while many Americans lose their homes.
Even Jehovah’s Witnesses are taking advantage of the fact that many have lost their jobs. About a decade ago they had switched their door-to-door shenanigans to night so that they could catch people at home, however; now that so many have lost their jobs and are thus at home during the day, they’ve “returned to daylight.” Thats great, just what people want - something else to piss them off when they’ve just lost their jobs.
So why exactly are people flocking to churches at the face of the economic downturn? Obviously because they’re afraid. According to the article they’re afraid that they may lose their jobs and for those that don’t have jobs, they’re afraid they won’t find jobs.
I’m not sure where these people have been, but apparently they don’t realize that unemployment rates in places like Zimbabwe and Nauru are anywhere from 80-90% (CIA World Fact Book, 2007). Or that 11 million children a year die around the world from preventable causes (UNICEF, 2004) and 2.7 billion people struggle to live on less than $2 a day (UN Millennium Project).
So the question I have is, if “god” doesn’t give a shit about all of these people - which is evident, what makes these Americans think he’d give a damn about them and their greedy American ways? I’m not sure what makes them think they are so important compared to the rest of the world that the “all-powerful god” would allow them to keep their fancy sports cars and stuff their gluttonous faces with McDonalds everyday. After all, according to the article, church rates are increasing in regions home to yacht clubs and hedge fund managers.
What do evangelical churches think the reason is that they thrive in hard times?
For some evangelicals, the answer is obvious. ”We have the greatest product on earth,” said the Rev. Steve Tomlinson, senior pastor of the Shelter Rock Church.
I’m glad he nailed that one because that’s exactly what it is. A product. A scam that thrives on the misfortunes of others. Sure you can argue that it gives people hope, but in the end it’s simple false hopes - and we all know those don’t change anything.
