Some of you may have heard of Edward Current or have at least seen his popular atheist youtube videos such as “An Atheist Meets God” and “The Atheist Delusion”. Of course his videos are meant to be satirical and judging by the comments, a lot of people find them quite humorous, as I myself do.
I’ve watched quite a few of them and some are definitely better than others but I’ve stumbled upon this one that has far less views than his popular ones but points out a nice flaw in “intelligent design”. Some of you may have seen this and many of you have probably not but either way, enjoy the video.
So, as Edward Current points out in this video, no “intelligent designer” would design something with so many flaws as the human body - unless you work for Microsoft. Sure human physiology is amazing, but no matter how amazing some parts of it may be - there are a countless number of flaws that are often fatal.
Sorry god, back to the drawing board i guess.
Be sure to stop by next Saturday to check out the next Atheist Humor post.

Haha, that’s some good stuff. I guess instead of resting on the 7th day god should have worked out the flaws.

What God first created, he called good (see Gen. 1). Sin screwed up what was otherwise perfect: Romans 5:12: “sin entered the world through one man, and through sin - death, and thus death has spread through the whole human race because everyone has sinned.
God already had plans on His drawing board to fix it through Jesus Christ His Son. He atoned for and fixed what man could not.

If Jesus fixed what man could not, why are new diseases created? After all, he DID fix everything, so why should their be these horrible new diseases they were formed or discovered (and in this case, existing BEFORE Christ) after his death?
If you’re saying that the atrocious actions of one man (completely unrelated to another) are why so many children die each year before they can even experience growth, you are a very sick individual.

Everything that goes wrong in the world is because the human race has turned its back on God.
(DISCLAIMER: I do not believe this, but find that this is the answer ALL fundamentalists believe)

wow. why would an “intelligent” god device a plan that has numerous flaws and one that requires sending his son on a suicide mission to work out the kinks (twice actually if we ever see a second coming). people just need to get over the high of faith. take ur ass to work on sundays, GOD knows u need the hours lol

“Sin screwed up what was otherwise perfect: Romans 5:12: “sin entered the world through one man, and through sin - death, and thus death has spread through the whole human race because everyone has sinned.”
Sin drives evolution? This is where speciation comes from? Then the first man must’ve been some form of single celled algae because that’s what started evolving first. Look at the fossil record here on Earth. The Bible says all the plants and animals were created at the same (give or take a day). If that was true, the fossil record would show the same plant and animal species, unchanging, going all the way back to the beginning of the fossil record.
Guess what, the fossils don’t support that claim. The fossil record shows a repeating pattern of a large number of complex species going back to a fewer number of less complex species, to an even fewer number of less complex species, over and over again until you get to just fossils of stromatolites, clumps of single celled algae that pretty much ruled the Earth for the first couple billion years of life’s existence here. The aren’t any fossilized humans, elephants, giraffes, lions, birds, maple trees, oaks, petunias, roses, etc. from that time period. Amazingly enough, that’s exactly what you would expect if evolution drove species to adapt to their local circumstances instead of an Intelligent Designer picking out a design and plopping it down at the beginning.
