Hi everyone and welcome to the site. I’ve created it to share my opinions and knowledge about atheism as well as provide news and hopefully a bit of humor.
I go by the name The Noose, which was a handle created especially for this website. I got the name from a song by A Perfect Circle, entitled The Noose. If you get a chance to, and you care, check them out and I think you’ll see why the name is appropriate.
As for me, I’m a 2nd year psychology student. I’ve just gotten into blogging and plan on starting a few to talk about my various interests. I’ll keep you posted on those.
As far as what my interest are, on my free time I play hockey, pool and poker, volunteer with various clubs that raise money for places like homeless shelters, and causes like breast cancer research. I’m also involved in clubs that make our university more accessible to people with disabilities. On top of this I assist in psychology research studies as a volunteer. It’s a pretty hectic life, but I enjoy every minute of it.

Good luck with this; we need all the help we can get. Although at any point in time, the ability to actually use critical thinking skills seems to be only available to about 2% of the human population. Welcome to the tiny club of thinkers.
